When I Need to Say, "I Miss You."

Being part of a relationship can be a wonderful experience. However, when speaking about a long-distance relationship, it takes an extra special bond to make the relationship work.

Even so, a long-distance relationship is not all bad, even if you do go several days, weeks or months - at a stretch - without seeing each other. However, because you spend so much time away from each other, it's important for the other to know the longing is mutual.

I fully that you not only miss spouses/partners: you miss friends and extended family members, too, especially when going long stretches of time without seeing them. You miss your children when they've moved away to attend college and when they've moved out to start a family of their own. Even so, the focal point of this lens will be missing your partner because you are separated by geographical distance.

Life can be difficult sometimes because you miss your partner so much but it is the price you pay for loving another person. Even so, the rewards far outweigh the cost.

Come along and take a journey to explore simple ways you can tell your partner that you miss him/her.
